Is Rotella T4 or T6, a synthetic oil, and do they have 10 weight 50, and where can you purchase it? Thanks for the info in advance

Just make sure you buy MA rated oil and not SP or MB rated oil and you should be good. Some Honda oils will be SP rated which is great for the motor side (back when they were separate) but will also make your clutch slip.

Maxima, Lucas, Amsoil, Rotella. Take your pick, the change interval is more important than the oil usually.

And for what it's worth, Honda's MB rated oils were inferior to Maxima oils in terms of wear. I rebuilt the top-end on my buddy's CRF450X once and compared it to my CRF450R's internals. No comparison - all the parts were LIKE NEW using Maxima oil. He had run Maxima since day #1 (bike had like 120 hours at the time) and I ran the Honda recommended oils (per Honda's user manual). My bike showed waaaay more wear. I considered this a reasonable apples-to-apples comparison since we rode the same terrain together all the time. The only difference was rider style.

^^^ So there's some feedback on Honda oils versus Maxima oils.

I will also say that I was on the Amsoil bandwagon for a while (a buddy became a rep and he really liked selling oil :-)) and I found that while Amsoil was better than Honda, it was noisier and the clutch became less smooth/grabbier. It also made my Rekluse Core EXP 2.0 (upgraded to the 3 later) squeal. Maxima was again better for my CRF applications. Not related, but Amsoil ATF made my Honda Civic a different car - for the better. Awesome ATF.
