The DID 520VX2 is a narrow o-ring type chain that has a similar width as a regular non-oring chain.

Sure am.... Got the primary drive x ring and Al sprockets on both a 17 350 sxf, and a 17 fc 450. No issues with either.
It will rob power it's heavier and your front sprocket will lose a tooth before any part in the drive system fails.
I have always been taught to replace the chain and sprockets all together so what is the point of an o ring chain?
GB520MXU, best you can have if you ask me. Last around 40-50h, and they only stretch 5-10mm during that time. Hate shit chain that makes the wheelbase 20mm longer and you have to adjust it every ride.
2014 450 sxf. Went from aluminum sprockets and non o-ring chain to steal sprockets and x-ring chain and didn't notice any difference.

I went the whole hog and got a semi steel back sprocket. Now my 60hp bike is down to 59.9hp and weighs 0.2lbs more than before lol
