So last night as I was compressing my exhaust valves out of the head they both popped almost like a bang. Is that normal as you compress the valve springs?
I'm assuming that you are removing the valves from the head for cleaning? It's normal for the keepers to stick in the valve when you are using a valve spring compressor tool. Tap them with a mallet after the first turn on the tool. It will help them seperate
