1) What does it accomplish - more low end?
2) What does it due to the TPS and or the ECU - need more fuel or less?
3) Are these available?

This is TC's 2018 Pipe

Most def a works pipe from AP , I would say ofcourse it changes the torque curve , Changing the nature in which the Exhaust leaves . What gains in torque curve it provides would be subjective to a dyno sheet or to rider preference, it has a purpose though . I would say contact AKROPOVIC on it .

I've started a longer header pipe for my 450SXF. Bought a new header and scrounged an header off of a older 450 to get this far. The hardest part is finding pre-formed 42mm (1.625) mandrel bends. No one locally wants to take on a small order. Did find some 18 ga 1.625 bends on the net. About 2 weeks out for those parts. So this is a far as I can go for now......

Yes they do - I'd never use it again and the quality of the bend might be suspect vs having some pieces formed on an expensive forming machine....

My fmf has 2 different header pieces, one is longer and the other one basically comes straight out. The longer one does give more bottom torque, which was shown on the dyno

Not available for the 2018.5 450. Plus I enjoy doing stuff like like this. It also keeps me of the bars and whore houses.....SillyCool

Tim, do you know what alloy these are? I need to do some modding to a pipe for my exc-sxf conversion and my buddy doing the welding just said he needs to know so he can use the right filler.
