Kx450 front plastic swap

Im putting on the 2018 front fender and plate onto my 09 kx for my next graphics kit. The fender should bolt right up, but what mods will i need to do for the plate? I believe the pins at the bottom changed in some way?

Not sure about '09 but on the 250f the 17+ fender & plate bolted right on.......
