Kx250f problem please help

Can this be the issue for hard starting only can be push started and bogs out and also backfiring I also reshimmed it and the timing is correct and I also cleaned the pilot jet but I found some holes in the flywheel and was wondering if that could be the problem?

Flywheel looks bad. It has come into contact with the stator at some time in it's past. So also check the stator for damage.
