Kx 500 help

I have a 94 kx 500 and 08kx450 front end... I want to swap Forks and hopefully the triples.. I know it’s not a direct swap but.. have any of you done this.. I have searched the 500 forums.. 500 guys are super snobby about what can and can’t be put on there bikesLaughingLaughing but I know there is some back yard geniuses on vital..
my plan is to swap stems and relocate the steering stops and hope this works.. I don’t really want to buy triples.. I want to spend that money on upgrading the suspension with racetech gold valves.. it’s going to be a rider not a show piece

Go to bike build section & tab down for Markee"s 92 KX500 build, he lays it out for you...basically swap stems, weld new steer stops to match new bottom clamp stops & make a spacer for top clamp gap as the stem you are using has a smaller o/d than the kxf stem...You don't need Facebook to look at KXriders.com.... Great site for the K5 and more info than anyone could ever want....even have a section for front end swaps...
