edit- I will add that Terry Cable used to and may still have foot peg rebuild kits which are slightly oversized pins with a drill bit, they work great. Can't imagine forcing these oversize pins thru without a consdirable amount of wear.

Yes , i want to drill thru the pegs/brackets to accomodate the 1mm larger pins to tighten up the fit

best way to do it, works great and makes the bike feel tight again.
