Ktm 350

I have a 17 350 ktm sxf, the bike is great but after riding 450s ,I felt that the 350 is to snappy at low end acceleration. This sucks it ruins my cornering entrance etc...
Will a works pipe help and do I need to remap.??
Pls help.

Try a 51, maybe you can enter a gear higher & that would mellow the snap out.

I have a 17 as well.
51 tooth, full exhaust, sreemless filter cage & I had Tokyo mods do my ecu ($110). Very easy to ride bike & she pulls

I already tried gearing up to a 51 tooth and it didn't change a thing...may remapping might help with a works pipe...

If you put a pipe on you don’t need to remap.

Typically a pipe and remap won’t mellow out the bike. Have you tried going to a 49 tooth rear? That will take off some hit.

Does your bike have a map selector? You can run in the mellow map and traction control, that takes away the hit.

Also make your you have the standard throttle on there not a quick turn.

I have owned an 350 2017 too and I agree its a bit snappy at the initial throttle! I did put an 51 tooth rear and that made me able to use 3rd most corners. Also removed the baffle in the stock exhaust, was some job to do it with chopping and welding it back together so if I would do it again id buy an slip-on muffler Smile with an more free flowing muffler the roll on was smoother! Good luck! its an awesome bike.

I have a 16, 350 SXF, so same bike, 51 tooth rear, 2 stoke filter cage, full FMF system with Tokyo mods ECU remap.
The bike flies, a lot down low and keeps on revving.
