Kick Guide KX125

Feel dumb for this one since I work in a Kawi parts department but have never dealt with one this old. Can't tell by the Kawasaki diagram if the kickstart guide is supposed to be slightly bent towards the cover? Not at work until Tuesday where I could look at a new one to compare and am trying to figure out the problem with the 125 I just got. Any help is appreciated. The guide I am speaking of is pictured here in this picture.
