KX 250 05-07 Crankcase Compatibility

Hello! I have to rebuild my 2005 kx 250 and was seeking a set of crankcases. Unfortunately they are no longer in circulation, but the 06-07 (different part number) versions are. i am curious if there are any major changes to them from 05, and if possible i could simply use those instead. Will be doing a complete top and bottom end rebuild so i can match those parts to the crankcase, but that leaves the 05 transmission that will be swapped over.

Any help is welcome and thank you in advance!
