What’s the best way to adhere these to the frame after you have frame painted?

My 92 kx125 had them glued on. My kx250f & 450f have glue and a hole in the frame they snap into.

Look for a glue that doesnt eat paint away. Not sure what that would be. Maybe a SMALL amount of super glue

I would just use gorilla glue , or or a eco friendly adhesive just follow directions and maybe score the spot where it's going .

I used super glue on my kx 2 years ago and they are still in place. no issues here.

3M weatherstrip adhesive. Available in a big tube at your local auto parts store. You can also use it on grips. I’d suggest black (it also comes in a yellow like contact cement).

Also if you use adhesion promoter it really helps stuff stick. I like the little 3M one use packs

x2. Weatherstrip adhesive is the correct method in my opinion. I use it on all my frames. You can use zip ties to hold it tight while the glue dries.
