KTM sx 2019?

Idk if there is any topic about this yet. But there is alot of talks KTM is coming out with a new bike for 2019, i was just about to go and buy a new ktm 2018 125 but if they come with a new package i rather save those money and get something cheaper ( just starting riding again so its nothing serious) just curious if people knew or heard something about it or maybe its to early to even talk about it?

Word is new frame and engines for 2019. I'm wondering if the 2strokes will change. Could be a year delay?

the 250 sx had a one year delay in 16? So you might be right. Would be interesting if they would release something about this early next year, there is plenty of two stroke fans out there so if they wont make any changes to the two strokes until 2020 would be a bummer for those who want to get a new bike now and want to wait for the new package in 19?

It's weird because the 250sx was delayed but they did a new 2016 125sx. Maybe just depends how dialed they are come release time?

If I remember correctly KTM pretty much admited that they didn't have the time or the funds to complete the update of the 250SX for MY16.

I'm interested to see the 2018.5 KTM FE bikes. IMO the current gen KTM four strokes are so good I don't know how they can make them much better. I guess a new motor package could give the 250SXF a little more bottom and they could try to save another pound or so.

My son put a deposit down for a 2018.5 fe 450sxf and was told it would be in by February

Revealing of the bike will be early December. Bikes will probably be at the dealers in February-March like when the 2015 FE came out. i'm sure they're aiming at February but don't count on that.

I would put a deposit on one now if you want that bike. It will probably be sold out instantly or some dealers will raise the prices of them like they did with the 2015 because of the incredibly high demand. I remember that some sold for 13 000 and even 14 000. That is several thousands over the MSRP.

The 2018 FE wont show up for the European market so i will wait for the 2019 bikes. They will probably show up mid summer anyways.

The 125 has had its updates always at the same time as the bigger bikes. So i expect a new SX and TC 125 in the summer.

The best part of that is i might find a 2016 or 2017 for around 3k soon.
