My brass fitting was spinning when I was tearing down my 16 125. After a lot of frustration I decided to spin it all the way out because I was in a rush. What's everyone's method on getting this inserts back in and staying there? Photo

Unleaded tastes a little tangy. Supreme is kinda sour, and diesel tastes pretty good.

2 part epoxy would be the best bet. Unless you have access or friends that work in a body shop that can hook you up with 3M panel bond adhesive.

Thanks guys, i'm away this weekend but am gonna try and get on it Monday.

Any glue/expoxy you would recommend?
And how should I get the insert in the pan? I tried to tap it in with a hammer and couldn't get it all the way in and straight.

And how ...more

Put a bolt in it and push that thing in with a t-handle or something. lol

You should probably have some glue/epoxy behind the insert too so wait until you have that?

I used JB Weld on a CR250 tank. It all held up for a couple years until I sold it.
