Riding today I went down twice and ended up tweaking my bars sideways. Took bars off and loosened the clamps and beat them back up and down to reset the rubber in place. Got the bars straightened out but noticed the bottom piece the bars sit in is slightly bent downward on the left side. The rest of the day it felt weird and such.... looking for suggestions on cheaper mounts setup maybe get rid of the rubber for solid mounts??? Not wanting to spend a ton of money either.... i just want something stronger than stock stuff. Bike is a 16’ 350sxf completely stock btw.

If you want the really cheap fix, break out the hack saw and cut the lower bar mount to make it two separate pieces. It's more than likely bent in the middle, simply cut that part away so it's more like a traditional 2-piece design and things should straighten out. This is really just a temporary fix, though, as it will act like a regular rubber mount that likes to twist up in tip-overs. And if it's really bent up it may not even work.

If you want the real fix, we sell just that...

I wouldn't recommend solid mounts as they will be really uncomfortable to ride relative to the rubber mounts. But if you must, we sell that too (same page).
