What parts are you looking for? Just use 2015 300 parts finch.
piston, rings, circlips, gaskets etc all top end parts. there is no 300sx only xc. Not sure what to do

Just buy a used Cylinder, power valve, head.

Any cylinder from ~2005 to 2015 xc or xcw will work, and then just get the head reworked for how you want the power.
There are a lot of these used cylinders laying around from rich KTM owners that never clear out their old parts stash. Just post a wanted ad on the KTM/Husky Facebook swap share page or ktmtalk forum classifieds. Someone in Vitalmx bazaar forum might also have a kit laying around.

The SXS form KTM includes a nice motocross ECU, which someone might have, but your 250 ECU will work pretty good.

ProCircuit has the best pipe to go with.

I already have the 1300$ 300 kit, just need to rebuild top end. I guess no one has ever rebuilt one.

I would just start contacting any of the major piston manufacturing companies and explain to them what you need ... start with vertex, wossner, wiseco, etc... then contact a gasket company like Athena, or cometic and see if they have or can make you a gasket...

can he use a piston and ring kit from a 300xc?
Possibly, as long as they share the same bore and wrist pin location, I wouldn’t see why not

There shouldn't be any difference. I'd buy everything for an XC and compare when you take your engine apart.

It's not like they make a 300SX like you said, so they are all XC parts.

I think the only difference with the bikes is the gear ratio and CDI.

I believe the SX version has the compression bumped up as well.

I had a 14 250/300, same motor. You use the 300 xc top end kit/piston.

As mentioned above, the only difference is the head and ecu.

Hey guys I’m looking at a 2012 250sx that he says has the 300 big bore installed but has no documentation. How can I tell that it has been done? Markings on the jug/head? Sorry to but-in this thread but I can’t find the info anywhere! Thanks!

There should be a 72 stamped on the left side base of the cylinder.
