Anyone have any tricks for knocking weight off of a new SXF?
Other than Titanium, I can't really find anything, this bike is pretty dialed!

Ti Bolts/axles - 2.5 pounds lighter - $2500
Ti Exhaust. - 1.5 pounds lighter - $1000
Ti Spring. - 0.5 pounds lighter. - $400
Seat Foam. - 0.5 pounds lighter. - $300
Skip Lunch. - 0.25 pounds lighter - $0

Anything else?

Carbon gas tank, carbon subfame / airbox.

$2500 for 2.5 pounds? I'd rather spend $30 a month for the gym and lose more than that. More beneficial for me anyways lol

-Ti exhaust and header
-Light seat foam
-Light tires(depending which engine)
-Light tubes
-Ti footpegs
-SC1 spray on the inside of the fenders so mud doesn’t stick.
-You can get Ti engine kit from moto stuff for $215, it’s on sale now.
-You can get most the Ti body fastners, front axel and engine bolts for about $250 from them also.
-Cut out and drill any battery tray plastic that isn’t needed.

Get rid of the battery all together and bump start it everytime. Guaranteed to shed a couple pounds.

Go with a Shorai battery instead, if possible.

But me spending $2500 is way more likely.

The FMF full titanium is actually 3lbs lighter. The steel header on the ktm is quite heavy.

The seat on my husky is already very light. The oem supplied tall seat is lighter than a rmz450 seat fitted with The fantom light foam

That CRM gas tank is drool worthy. Every time I see one in the Pit Bit's, I get the itch to buy one.
