This weekend, I've cracked my 4th pipe already on my 250 SX. Its a 2013 (2013-2016 model year). I either crack them right at the bend where they mount to the frame or just blow a hole in it. Both happened twice, so four times total. I tried numerous of pipes including the stock pipe, two KTM Powerparts pipes and a HGS pipe.
Are there others here that have this issue? If not, what pipe do you use? I tried FMF but it's kinda "banned" here due to it making too much noise, so only rode with that once.
I'm kinda tired of blowing my money on pipes.

Or for a heavier gauge option run the PC 2 pipe for the 300,
I'll try to see if a FMF/stock combo will pass decibel regulations.
Before the 13 the last 250SX’s I had were 00 and 01....both got similar small cracks on the header area of the oem plated pipe. I think the stock KTM pipes are just crappy. I don’t know about the newer ones but the older bikes used 3 springs and MXA used to say to take one of them off to help with the problem.

Possibly something is wrong with fitment causing extra stress or a combo of that and a lean condition creating extra heat as well? Good luck
