Jetting help

Have an 04 cr125 with the shitty mikuni carb. Have a pc platinum w an r304 and v force 3 reeds, still has awful bog coming off the bottom end. I hate tuning carbs and I've pretty much given up. It's about the 60's here in Phoenix and is about 1200-1300 ft elevation. Any ideas on how I should rejet and lean it out?

What jetting are you using? Have you looked at what PRO CIRCUIT recommends for jetting?

Yes, family friend who owned a power sports dealer/shop rebuilt it and put the recommended pro circuit jets in it.

Those bikes just have zero bottom end so are you sure you're not just lugging it too much? I just built an 03 and it runs awesome (with the Mikuni) but it'll bog on the very bottom under power with no clutch.

I usually ride around 1000 feet in So Cal and my jetting right now:
Main: 430
pilot: 40
needle: 2nd clip
air screw: 1.75 out

Nothing wrong with your "shitty Mikuni"...most "shitty" carbs are set up by shitty tuners
