On my project 98 yz250. Do you think it can be welded? I plan on splitting the cases so I’ll have a better look from the inside.



Good cases are getting harder to find on eBay.

Kindof hard to say with all the dirt on there.

The split i see can be welded.

I would say any decent welder or machine shop should be able to get that fixed up without a problem.

Yep weld it up and keep your chain fresh. Since you dont have the other bolt for the case saver youre at a little more risk of your chain snapping it.

Ok cool. I have an uncle who welds professionally. I’ll have him take a look at it once I get all that stuff off. Which is JB Weld I assume?
