I dont really know if this is normal but the idle sound seems to go up and down and pops sometimes. Something wrong with the timing or valves?

Your idle sounds low. Make sure its at 2000rpm +/-50.

Also sounds like this with the cold start button pulled out. But a little bit higher RPM. Turning the knob doesnt change the idle RPM much.

Sincd your idle knob is not making a difference id probably start looking af your temperature sensors. Does the problem go away if you crack the throttle?

It rides fine, but the idle is not how it should be. Even after riding is keeps idleing like this. Where is the tempature sensor located? This is my first 4 stroke so bear with me

So we dont skip steps.., have you made sure you have consistent spark, and that your fuel delivery is adequate? Do that first. Then make sure your tps voltage is set to .6 volts.

You have a coolant sensor on the back of your cylinder. And you have an air temp sensor back by the air box.
