How to put a front fender and front number plate from a 2018 KX450 on a 1999 KX250?

I have a 99 KX250 and I was wondering what I would have to do to install a front fender and front number plate from a 2018 KX450 on it. Would I have to put triple clamps from a 2018 on it also?

No. Kawi has the same bolt pattern for all their fenders. Youre good to go

I figure at the most its drilling some bolt holes and using some zip ties. But I have no KXperience...

I did it on my KX500 that has 97-05 clamps. The front number plate was the only thing that took a little more work. Get a front number plate like a Cycra stadium or Acerbis Raptor plate, that has the lower clamp guards that zip tie around the fork legs, then get a little aluminum strip from home depot and make a 90 degree bracket to adapt the upper mount of the plate if your KX250 top clamp doesn't accommodate. Pretty simple. I can post a couple pictures if you'd like.
