Looks like fine shavings. Is the bike new? How many hours has the oil been in?

Ok, my 125s have always looked like that (from what I can tell in the image). Put fresh oil in and if you go gnarly on the clutch then drain it in the next 2 rides or so and it'll still be dark with some fine particles in there.

Is that dark gray?

yeah, it looks like it has more metal flake than a 1960's low rider impala.

The clutch plates brake down and will put glitter in the oil. You need to be changing it a lot more frequently. Like every two or three rides. If your not having any shifting issues or clutch issues, run it. Coolant would make it more milky so your good there. I would invest in a magnetic drain plug too. It will catch all the steel particles and keep the oil a little cleaner longer. Make sure your using dirt bike specific transmission oil. Pro Honda HP trans oil is really good stuff.

Its dark because of the Aluminum clutch plates and the shavings are more than likely aluminum particles. I change my oil both four and two stroke after every ride. There is appx 1 liter of oil in there and keeping it clean will make your motorcycle last longer.
