How bad is it?

What are your guys thoughts on these cracks around this bearing? I noticed them after splitting the cases and removing the other bearings in prep for the rebuild and cleaning. My fingernail can catch on them and you can see oil soaked into the cracks also. This is a new to me, project bike so I have no idea if it leaked in this area or not. The entire bottom of the motor and frame were covered in a dirt and oil mix but I assumed that was more from the missing bolt on the exhaust to the head.

I have been told if they are raised ridges, they are casting marks, so take a small screwdriver and gently run it across them, you will feel the difference from a raised ridge vs a crack...
