Any kx250f owners find the stock bars awkward to stand up and ride with? I just can’t get comfortable standing on this bike, it like the wrists are “linked” when standing. I’m 5’9 and the stock bars look like they are actually taller than most other bends so I’m not sure.should I try less sweep or a higher bar? Just looking for opinions, thanks for any help.

I'm 5'11 and have been on kawi 250fs since 07. I believe they've run the same bend since 05 or 06. I actually prefer the stock RC bend, but that's just me. Have you tried moving the handlebar mounts to the forward position on the upper triple clamp? (I guess that depends on the year of your bike). Some people that feel crammed with the stock setup on kawis try the windham bend with good results. You can always email renthal with what you're feeling...they're pretty helpful and may have a good recommendation. Good luck man.

Keefer has a bar podcast where he talks about each brand and the bends. He seems pretty sold on the flattest and lowest bend. Ive been eyeballing the renthal fatbar ktm low bend for my kx 250 and 450.

Yup. Try moving those bars to the forward mount. I even spun the clamps around to get them even more forward. Helped me a lot. I'm 5'11".

are you new to riding? standing up always feels super awkward at first. I had a 15 kx250f and ran the stock bar bend for ever. im 5'10 and it was perfect.
