Hi folks!
bought this bike been running absolutely mint for 4 months. Got an issue but, idle and first good half of throttle still amazing however 3/4 throttle to full throttle serious lack of power and almost like its bogging down? Was going to check jets suspecting main one? Recently went from summer to winter (ridiculously quick) 35 - 20°c average, on the lowest continent (gday) 300m above sea level. What would be a good set up for me? Also noticed bike is going through fuel a fair bit quicker. Could it be a needle thing?

Any info would be great Smile

What main jet? If it was running great up top in the summer and then it got very cold then the bike is running too lean (as it's getting more/denser air in the winter weather).

Going to cooler temps should make the bike run leaner. Are you missing a lower subframe bolt in the pic? I don't know if it's been removed for servicing the bike but I just noticed it.

Have you replaced the stock Reed block in it? The stock block is a horrible design. If you haven't replaced the stock reed block, don't mess with jetting just yet, reed blocks in these bikes are a severe problem, I bought a 2014 ktm Reed block, to try on my 2012 250sx, and it had gaps between the reeds like you wouldn't believe, amazing it got past quality control and sent out for sale like it was, and where the two halfs meet, and bolt to the reed block flange, there is a massive air leak back into the intake. If your bikes giving you trouble with jets all of a sudden, rule out your Reed block, cuz Iv had friends buy new ktm's from the show room floor, including myself, and pretty much all of them had poor sealing Reed blocks that needed to be replaced. Bad reeds will make any bike run like garbage up top, and hard to start, so if your experiencing poor top end, and hard starting, then reeds would probably be the culprit
