I have an all stock bike besides a high compression piston and upgraded valve springs. I'm looking towards upgrading my 2014 yz250f to get more power out of it without upgrading to a 450 yet. Was wondering is it worth getting the head ported and if so what other things besides fuel mapping would be a necessity to run the bike without problems?

I’ve heard the dual injector kit makes some good power. Twisted Development has a plug and play kit for that bike.

I like to have porting done on my bikes. I then add a Vortex ignition and exhaust with good fuel (On the YZ250F I know the stock exhaust performs well).
For me these are the best mods on my 4T’s. Then from there I’d go HC piston, cam etc.
The good thing is you can add parts as your budget and personal testing allow.
