Just as the title says, has anyone on here had their bikes frame cerakoted?
I'm currently rebuilding my/my wife's 2005 rm125 and am leaning towards having the frame cerakoted along with a few other parts on the bike. Does anyone here have experience with using it on their frame?
If you have, how well did it hold up?
Also, how well does cerakote stack up against powder coating? I'm sure powder coating overall lasts longer, but how much?

Any responses and feedback are appreciated!

Just to add here…
I have shot mainly the heat cure. Meaning you have to place the parts in a oven.
The air dry for me is not as tough as the oven cure.

It’s the thickness of the material covering the frame that adds to longevity.
I would not consider Cerakote for a frame unless a bicycle one where keeping material weight is important.

Powder coat will last longer, cerakote is nice because its so think and threads etc dont need to be masked. If i had the choice do a powder. But people have a guy i know @mxgarage on instagram does cerakoted frames alot. Check him out.
