Has anyone switched their fuel injection bike back to carb? Just wondering how the ECU might handle it, I guess you'd need to leave the TPS connected?

You would have to find a CDI capable of working with a TPS

Usually Suzuki LTR450R guys I have seen do it.

l wonder why quad guys do it? My reason is that l have spent 40 years using & understanding carbs, l am more confident with them, l am interested in changes in performance also.

The bike l'm thinking of retro-fitting is my 2011 RMZ450, which does have a TPS, so the ECU makes changes in relation to it. Maybe l find a carb with a TPS and see if it is compatible with the ECU?

l remember back a few years, Yoshimura had Mikuni flatslide carb kits for the early injected GSXR1000's, making more horsepower. l guess the carb of choice would be a Keihin FCR41, maybe something larger if available?

l won't go down this road if l can't find anyone with experience doing this, a lot of work & expense to experiment.
