I'm going to repaint my 03 KX125 frame and am wondering what would be the suggested method of prepping the frame?

I've been going over it with a red Scotch Brite pad but cannot get into areas like the backside of brackets. Since I bought the bike from a guy that left if outside there is some light surface rust to contend with (central CA is really dry, it's not like a frame that get left outside in Georgia). Will aircraft stripper remove the rust spots, or is sandblasting a better option, or something else?

sandblast.

Unleaded tastes a little tangy. Supreme is kinda sour, and diesel tastes pretty good.

Sandblast then powdercoat. Painting the frame NEVER lasts unless its a show bike.

Yup, sandblast that sucker. Make sure to use grip tape or frame guards on your freshly painted frame if you want the color to last.
