Fork Noise/Air

I took my forks off to fix a bearing. I randomly took a fork and turned it upside down. I heard a "glug glug glug" similar to when you pour water out of a bottle fast. It is as if there was loads of air moving in the oil up and down the fork. Is this normal or should i get it checked? Suspension is standard KYB SSS for a 250F. If anyone knows please help or feel free to try it yourself? cheers

As with any liquid in a vessel the air will rise to the top. So when you turn it upside down the air is now rising to the new top. Regarding you saying loads of air, there has to be air in the system to allow the fork to compress.
