So I know static sag should be between 30 & 40 mm, with race sag at 100mm if the spring is right! ( if you have 40mm static & only 95 race sag then you need to go up a rate)
My question is , so these guys running 108 to 110 mm of race sag! Is the same formula used to determine the proper spring rate?

You would go down a rate (softer) with 40mm static and 95mm race sag. 105mm is a good starting point and is figured the same way (30-40mm static).

MX317 is correct. If you're at 95 and trying to get to 100 you would loosen your adjuster, less preload. This would in-turn create more free sag (if you're at 40 it would foreseeably go to 45). Meaning your spring rate is too stiff and must be softened. Here is a link you might want to read.
