Maybe it's just me but my '16 350 makes what seems to be an overly loud ticking from the right side of the engine. I replaced the cam chain tensioner and pulled the clutch cover to check for a loose primary nut. Everything looks great inside, nothing loose and valves are in spec. It had the normal amount of material on the trans filter and absolutely no sign of shiny stuff in the engine oil filter.
Not sure if it's related but it also makes a whirring/whining sound while riding that increases and decreases with engine speed. Anyone else have these sounds going on with their bikes?

Check and make sure youre getting enough oil to the head as there have been a few instances where people have gotten debris in their oil (dirt, water, etc.) and it has clogged oil passages.
KTMs are noisy though.

Another question: the noise happens when the engine is warmed up or cold?
