Is there any benefits to using a product like micro slick by cerakote on your power valves? What type of coating comes stock on power valves? I know some have no coatings but I see the power valve on my rm125 has a black coating and the tips have a gold coating that almost looks like ti nitride or something similar.

Wanted to resurrect this thread to see if anyone has experience in doing this and the results? Most interested in applying to a two stroke power valve.

Does it stay cleaner?
Better response?
What product did you use?
