Dumb tire question

I've got in my garage two new Bridgestone tires never installed but 10 years old. I also have a bike that needs tires but will probably only ride a couple of times before I put sand tires on then ride sand for a month or so.

So the dumb question is, how bad is it to run these new 10 year old tires? Waste of time or fine for a vet rider to get by for a bit? In August when the sand tires come off I'll be ordering something fresh.

From my experience, the knobs will chip off pretty fast.

Yeah they’ll probably disintegrate pretty quick, being that I’m sure they’re dry rotted. But I mean what the hell, I’d slap em on

They’ll be fine for a bit. Any dry rot? Were they stored hung up in a climate controlled environment?

Knobs will probably chunk and sidewalls crack.

I ran a little 2008 crf150r with stock tires.
Not much hp, but the tires held up fine.
Run 'em!

My bikes had the original tires from 2009 when they were new. Tires were dry rotted and i kept getting flats. Try it but dont be shocked if you keep getting flats.
