Hey guys, I have researched this on the internet suite a bit and it seems to be a bit more how your bike is set up.

I was wondering if someone could tell me a recommended carb setup for.
2006 Honda crf250r.
Stock motor, exhaust, and everything.
My elevation is anywhere from 2,700ft to 4,000 ft.
And ELIMINATE THAT CRAPPY WFO BOG!
Any help is much appreciated.

Hey guy,

I don’t think you can consult Tamir on this one, being a Honda and all. Here’s to keeping a thread in a perpetual loop. Help is much appreciated!

Copius pattern amounts of phrases like “Anyone have”..., “Anybody know?”.... and their variations.

Any help is appreciated!

Adjustable leak jet will help the bottom bog (when you snap open the throttle). WFO bog sounds like more of a main jet issue to me. I had a 06/09 and I always removed the metal piece that inserts into the bowl (I read about it somewhere..) It seemed to help some.

Thank you for the reply but im hoping to just replace the leak jet. and get full jetting settings as well in this post. The R&D Power Bowl 2 is a little out of my price range right now.

The bog is a lean condition.
Adjust the fuel screw.
Check the accelerator pump timming and direction of spray. It should not hit the slide.

1. Clean carb throughly
2. New plug, fresh gas and clean air filter
3. Carb clamps tight?
4. ProCircuit jetting https://www.procircuit.com/jettingspecs2.htm#2006.

A more pricier option is the JD jetting kit. Works great!

None of above will work with a dirty carb or cracked Orings.
