I've tried everything!!! I've heated it with a torch TWICE and it did nothing! I've had it soaked multiple times all day long in pb blaster. I've pulled with locking pliars so much and it hasn't budged. I've tried using a screw extractor on it. Nothing. It's as if it's literally welded into the engine case.

Just a thought, dont know if I sound stupid or not, sorry if I do. What if you drilled through it, stuck some type of rod through and pried the crap out of it using upward force. I can't tell how much clearance you have from the edge of the case to the top of the dowel pin. Just my idea. Otherwise heating the case and pulling it is the only other thing I could think of.

Did you heat the pin? Or the case?

Id try heating up the case around it with a propane torch then vice gripping the pin and spinning it, left to right to work it out

Must have a lip squished out inside the bottom of the case hanging up on something. I suppose you could somehow try cutting a slit on the inside and pulling the pin in on itself to hopefully break or fold a section out.

I've pulled while it's spinning and on top of that guess what happened just now when I was pulling. The piece I was touching with my pliers literally RIPPED OFF THE DOWEL PIN LIKE A SHEET OF PAPER. NOW THERES A CHUNK OF METAL TORE OFF THE PIN.

I wish my dowels would stay in the cases. I lose those damn things regularly.

Solid advice here.
Bel Ray assembly lube has a high concentration of moylbdenum disulfide and works well on an application like this. Apply to both the dowel, and the inside of the hole. Better yet- mix just a bit of waterproof grease with the Bel Ray assembly lube and it will help resist drying out.
Been doing this for decades and have not had a stuck dowel in ....... decades.
PS- this also works well on swingarm bearings and linkage bearings.

Sorry I'ma little late on this one. Next time one of ya'll run into this, take the largest socket that fits inside the dowl, pinch the dowl with some vice grips, twist and pull up. It works 60% of the time everytime.
