Does anyone know what Ventifugal posting is ??

Hi guys can anyone help me out here, I have just purchased a carburettor supposedly from a Honda Cr125 SRS tuned machine as part of my constant buying of all things exotic . However I have asked my Motocross expert friends what does it mean and will it fit any CR125 and they all have no reply .
This is what the advert stated....
Honda cr 125 2001 carb come from a full srs race tuned bike,carb was tuned jetted
And ventrifugal posted also as you can see in pics.

Don’t know what it does, but pretty sure they meant centrifugal. V is right next to C

Ahh could be ! However still none the wiser about this carburettor & what makes it so special .

Looks like the intake side had some work done to it. Its not the same cast finish. Its machined. Maybe he meant the venturi was ported?

Thanks Kb228 , I did not know what I was looking at to be honest . But a tuned carburettor sounds like fun and I know lots of people have used a mikuni on there Cr125's to good effect over the Kehlin . I'm hoping it will go on my Steve Lamson build 97'

Other way around. Round filing the Mikuni TMX and swapping it for a Keihin PWK is the usual mod. If you have a Keihin PWK then keep it.

Well it's a 97 CR125 so I think it comes with the Kehlin . But will have a Bills Pipe & Lamson tail pipe so when I saw this tuned carburettor I thought I have got to have that . I know SRS Honda engines were very quick in the 96-97 era

I don't doubt it, although you have to ask why it's up for sale. It may be a modified TMX. It may also be a modified TMX that's still a ball ache to set up.

I will have a look at it when I get it and post some more close up photos . Maybe even do a bench test with it . The guy was just selling off parts , I have a friend who sold an SRS ignition the other week he had to raise money for a bike he is building so I suppose if you are not going to use stuff , sell it , & I normally buy it lol .

The 92-97 HPP engine responds extremely well to a Keihen 38mm PWK Air Stryker. Mikunis belong on the shelf......Ran both......
