How is everybody? Im Glad to finally join a mx forum I have been buying and fixing motorcycles for a while now but never had to dig into a engine to far. I recently bought a 09 Suzuki RM85 and have been rebuilding it from the ground up and found out the engine had been driven with regular gas in it. and it seized the crank and the wrist pin broke on the piston and was wedged between the cylinder wall and piston and created a gnarly groove in both wall and piston. And I already purchased a LA Sleeve and new piston both 48mm also am curious if i made a mistake there. But as the title says do I need to hone a LA sleeve

I've installed some sleeves and some have to have cylinder bored to fit sleeve and then bore and hone the installed sleeve.

Would it be better to install sleeve the home or vise versa

I would send my cylinder to them for the installation.

Id suggest sending the cylinder to millennium for a replate over installing a sleeve. If you insist on doing a sleeve, send it to them to install.
