Dented Ti gas tank?

Edited Date/Time 6/19/2019 9:13pm
Looking for suggestions on how to fix a dented titanium gas tank on a 2018 crf250. The top of the tank is pushed down far enough so that the seat isnt able to latch on. Also, has anyone ever seen this happen before?!

Not sure. A body repair guy would know. Id imagine heating it up and pulling the dent would be the way to go

Possibly depending how strong this tank is. Use A tool used for paintless dent removal. Empty the tank. Remove the gas cap, insert tool from there and try to work it out.

This would be the best route imo. Prying on the tab the seat slides into could result in ripping the tank.

take the seat off, pull the fuel pump and made a plate to seal the hole. then do the power washer method! or buy a Hand Test Pump and create something to seal the tank with that way and pressure it up!

The places that do two-stroke pipe repair can probably fix it. I believe they use air or water pressure to take The dent out. During my two-stroke racing days I would usually send in two or three pipes at a time to have fixed.
