Crf steering damper size

Hi all
I’m mounting a crf steering damper to the big ktm520 and I need to revalve the damper, there are 2 sizes of damper, 20mm and 24mm. Does anyone know where these measurements are taken? I need the correct size before I order the revalve kit
Thanks for your help

Shhhh.. Build it with motor oil rather than shock fluid.

You want it as stiff as you can get it. Thick oil doesn’t flow through the valve stack as easy.

This^^^^
A revalve “ kit “ isn’t necessary
As mentioned the heavy oil will stiffen it up plenty

I've done re-valve, gold valve and 20wt fork oil. 20wt fork oil is by far the best bang for the buck.
