Crf/Cr rear shock swap

I believe so. I ran a mid 2000's CRF B-kit setup on our '02 CR125. I am hoping I can get the shock to fit on my 96 CR125 with minor modifications. Too long at moment........

I have done something similar. I have an ‘07 crf450r shock on one of my ‘04 CR250R’s.

I think pretty much any CRF Showa shock can be made to fit the CR's. Just need to take it to someone knowledgeable on the subject to get the length modified exactly right for your particular year CR. I know the CRF shocks thru '08 will bolt up, but the length is wrong (too long by just a few mm)

Yes. The shape of the body is a bit different, but both should be appx. 498mm eye to eye. Get the correct spring on it and you should be good to go.
