Hi guys
2015 yzf 250
I was changing oil and filter This morning
I either overtightened the drain plug bolt by turning ratchet the wrong way or it was already like it
There is a small crack (see picture) that oil now drips out of and the bolt doesn't go tight
Picture is not my bike but similar problem
Is there a decent temporary fix?
I want to use the bike approximately 3/4 times before I put it in for a rebuild. Happy to change the case when I do this
Many thanks

When you pull motor have welded
Drill head of bolt for safety wire find a spot on case or frame to secure to
Certainly try the above fix. Factor E is a smart dude.

It's the biggest pain in the arse about most case repairs I've ever done, oil contamination within the 'grain' of a broken / cracked case, even with thorough, multiple cleanings of the weld area. That, and the variations of case materials metallurgy.
Ideally I want it rebuilt and probably will have this done in the autumn and get a new case or weld and retap the one that's on there
So looking for temporary fix in the mean time
