Cleaning ignition?

I’m building a 1999 kx 125, one area of the bike I’m not so familiar with - I took off the ignition cover and this is what I found. What’s the best way to clean this up? Is it an indicator of other problems? Any advice would be helpful!

Id use a brass wire wheel on your flywheel. Vapor blaster on the rest. Scotch brite wheel can take care of the stator

With it being that dirty on the inside I would check the crank seal. When dirt and water gets into the cover it can make the seal fail.
