Can I put a cr250 rear wheel on my cr125?

I have a 2001 cr125 and it's missing the complete rear wheel. The only wheel that's an exact fit is the 2000-2002 cr125 wheel. However I did notice that the wheel hub of mine is the same one used on the 2000-2001 cr250 as well as the cr125 and that the only difference between the cr125 rear wheel is the rim size. Would a cr250 wheel mount up and run without a problem on a cr125? I'm pretty sure it will but I'm checking with y'all to be sure.

I would say it will fit, but ive never tried it myself. A 125 tyre is 100/90-19 and a 250 is 110/90-19 so that's only 10mm total meaning 5mm each side.

I think it will work I just looked up and the swingarm is the exact same for both bikes as well so figment shouldn't be an issue.

Standard rim width is 1.85 for 125 and 2.15 for 250. Having said that I sure hope it will work because this is what I’m about to do too tongue

Go to an OEM parts website that still shows part numbers. If the hub numbers are the same for both wheels, than you should be okay, aside from tire width.
