So basically I dropped the float needle when cleaning the carb and amazingly the top piece flew off, nowhere to be seen again. I looked everywhere but I can't find it.
I ordered a new AllBalls carby kit but this little piece of metal wasn't included. And it doesn't seem like Honda sell it either? Does anyone have a part number for this?
Or alternatively, is it better to just upgrade to a CRF80 carburetor? Best place for a carby. There's so many types on e Bay.
Thank you

Used the wrong words, my bad!
Yeah, just that top piece on the float valve (Part #10)? I didn't even know it was able to come off and it looks like a new #10 doesn't have the top metal thing with the loop to operate the actual float.
The Shop
New Honda float valve should come with it attached as mentioned above.
I was told by the Honda dealer that they recently gave the Kawasaki dealer a big box of parts for these bikes so I'll see if I can snag it from them.
Otherwise I'll order a cheapy carb from eBay as I found one with a new inlet at 45mm spacing.
Post a reply to: CRF50 - I've lost the piece that connects the valve to the needle
