Been really on the fence of purchasing a brand new bike. Any owners of 2021-2023 KX250 could give some insight? Im 5'11 165lbs, mid pack C rider. All bikes nowadays, I've heard, is pick a color and ride it. True?

Not the strongest low end, but the mid to top is insane.

If you like to short shift and like a meaty roll on it isn’t for you.

If you can keep it on the pipe and leave the throttle open it shreds.

I’m about the same weight, height, and speed as you. I have the 2022 and love it. The width feels absolutely perfect. Some of the other brands I’ve ridden have felt a little wider in comparison.

I can definitely back up what the other user said about the power. It’s definitely in the mid to top. They are making minor changes to the motor for 2023 though, so results may vary.

Some of the media outlets say the forks are a little harsh and recommend a spring change, but for our weight and riding level, they’ve been solid for me.

If you have any specific questions, I’d be happy to answer them for you.

I hear the addressed the lack of low end as well as new transmission gearing . IMHO that is the only thing it needed . My son has a 21 and I had one as well , they are great bikes and fast as hell
