Ok so I have to completely rebuild my 2016 350 sxf and I’m thinking of using cylinder works big bore or stock bore high compression kit, any input would be great the head will be sent to Racetech for porting.

Oem piston is by far the best out there. There is a lot of development and design in it. Changing compression rating or bore may be a loosing batttle compared to the OEM setup. I know that the aftermarket prices are tempting compared to OEM.

Rebuild it and send the ecu to twisted or go vortex if you want more power.

Thumper Racing in Reno has a big bore kit I’ve heard good things about.

CP carillo makes the oem pistons.. theyre cheaper to buy from CP instead of KTM.

Wouldnt waste money on a big bore. Go with a HC piston or get a 450

Consider how you use your 350 now - as in, do you rev it to the stratosphere as can be done on the 350, that brings it to being competitive with 450s?

If so, std capacity is what you want, as, big bore kits tend to limit revs.

But if you don't rev it to the moon, a big bore might just be the 'thing' for you. I have to say, the vast majority of 350 riders I've observed, ( I'd be one of them, as I'm used to a 500 2t that peaks at around 6k- and I rarely get remotely near that ) are Not using the rev range the 350 can achieve, so, they'd probably be better off with a larger bore when it comes time for a rebuild. 380s - 400s, can be sweet motors.

Thanks for the replies after talking with RaceTech I’m going to go with the high compression, only draw back is having to mix race gas and 93 octane
