Super-mini or 125? I'm getting back into it and I'm still a light-weight.Age 45 B level.

I love riding my 125s on some florida sugar sand tracks! Might not be the best bike but it sure is a fun challenge.

A 125 would be better in real sand. The larger diameter wheels will get on top of the sand much easier.

Thats what I was thinking but the 125 also has 50 extra lbs and I'm only 145 with all my gear. All the ttracks I grew up racing are all so sandy now including Red Bud. I've heard these super-minis have the best power to weight ratio.

You will be fine at 145 pounds... what is the fixation with super minis? What height are you? If you grew up racing, I would think the last thing you'd want is a small bike, males no sense. Sounds like you have already chosen a super mini in your mind, go for it... May be fun.
