I'm looking for the best bang for the buck kind of deal. I'm just a weekend warrior vet rider and I'm not dropping $500 on a set of Tech 10s. Looking for something that offers protection, comfort, and made well. What ya got?

Join MXSponsor, great way to save some money if you buy stuff.

I had Tech 3's and they were decent but I got SG12's this year.....without a doubt worth the money. They were $420 but at my left they should damn near last forever.

For you I would look at a Tech 7 or SG10/11/12 or SIDI.

I run Gearne SG12 and they are the best boot money can buy IMO. If I were to recommend a safe boot for the weekend warrior, Fly has the Sector boot, which are just a remake of the Oxtar/TCX boot. I had TCX in the past and they are a very good/safe boot and comfortable.

Go Gaerne.

Even if you have to wait for Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals, their entire line of boots are worth the higher prices...

Jett, if you can find them. I got mine for less than 300 bucks and love them, but I am not sure you can still get them in the States.

I have to agree. After 3 sets of tech 10s I made the switch to gaerne sg12s last year and I love them. My only gripe with the sg12 was the slip in soles are very cheap and thin. I put dr sholls active soles in and was a huge improvement.

I sure loved my Tech 8's, but couldn't spend that kind of $$$ to replace them so went with the Tech 7's. No regrets! I don't feel like I've sacrificed risking injury over it, and they were a boat load cheaper (on sale too)

SIDI SRS 2
Going to be available for lower cost when the 3's come out.
Expensive initially buy the durability is so good, they will outlast 2 pairs of most others.
My son has over 200 hours of strictly Moto on his and they are still serviceable.
Going to be hard to switch to anything else.
